Back To The Wiretapping Thing...

... see, I've been thinking, and I'm back where I started - here's what I asked a couple of weeks or maybe a couple of months ago....

... all that was needed to make the wiretapping legal was to get a court order - this is not my opinion, this is a fact.

Would that have been so difficult?

If the president was worried that doing so would make a leak possible and then the bad guys would know they were being tapped, wouldn't you think that the government official who approved the court order might be pursuaded to keep silent regarding the
order for security's sake?

ON THE OTHER HAND - the ONLY reason I can figure out that ANYONE would go forward with

an act such as this ILLEGAL wiretapping WITHOUT getting the court order is that they were SO SURE that what they were doing wouldn't get approved that they just SKIPPED all the LEGAL ACTION REQUIRED.

GEEZ.

These guys just do whatever the fuck they want to.

So, once again, I ask - exactly WHICH
